The Language of Cells

A former teacher was recently diagnosed with AML (acute myeloid leukemia) and has been sharing her experience with the process of chemo and the prospects of finding a bone marrow donor.

Her diagnosis came about a year after our kiddo’s diagnosis. She has been an inspiration sharing her experiences and the books she has been reading. As always, I cannot keep up with my reading list, so I managed to scan a copy of the chapter I am interested in reading.

It’s been sitting on my desktop like a open wound that needs to heal. Instead of plowing through the chapter, I decided to archive it here.
