Domesticity at War Book
August 4, 202
Someone recommended Domesticity at War (contains an Amazon affiliate link) by Beatriz Colomina after my MFA critique in May.
I am not exactly sure why this book was recommended to me other than the connection to my work on domesticity and female labor. I know it sounds like it should connect, but as I read the book, it felt like a sharp turn away from what I was working through.
However, as I looked through the book, the book is split in half horizontally, which was new to me. I like the juxtaposition of the text with images, where there was no one way to look through the text and images. I am documenting the book here for memory.
